Joanna is the kindest and most chic. I always find something amazing at OP shop. It’s my first place to visit when I have an event coming up or just want to treat myself to some beautiful vintage. Joanna is always on hand offering to help or giving opinions on outfits. She makes you feel valued and seen❤️And I am so grateful have it in Rochester. Best finds/sweetest owner!!

The Op Shop is one of my favorite small business / thrift stores to visit in Rochester, hands down! Everytime I've gone the staff is always so warm & welcoming! The store itself is clean & well organized. In addition, I have bought a few outfits here over time all of them have been excellent quality / do not wear and tear. Long story short, definitely check it out! 10/10 :)

The OP Shop is a wonderful gem that supports local businesses. As a vendor, I have been treated with so much care and kindness. Every time I come to restock my inventory, I enjoy being able to catch up with Joanna and Justine (who are the sweetest people). I also enjoy being able to go through the store and look through their selection of vintage clothes and handcrafted items. Overall, would I recommend this store? 100% Do I think this place is super cool? Hell yes.

What a fun place to shop! My teen daughter and I came in for the first time and she found a dress she will use for the prom for an amazing price. There are so many different styles/decades here and it’s just a lovely shop. Will definitely be visiting again soon when we have even more time to browse. Highly recommended place if you value sustainable fashion.

What a gem of a shop! The owner was in and they were a lovely human to converse with. I really enjoyed their jewelry selection and the vintage clothing was some of the best I've seen! Clearly there is a lot of thought and intention behind the curation of items. Highly recommend.

I love this shop! It is truly full of magical, inspiring, enchanting garments—and the many humans who come together with collaboration, open spiritedness, and hard work are so special. I cannot count how many of my favorite vintage outfits have come from here. The selection is always changing and the shop itself constantly seeks to improve and grow. Not only does this space generate encounters with one of a kind textiles, it facilitates community, connection, and creativity. This space has been central to my experience of making long lasting, intimate, cherished friendships, which has been immensely healing. I started popping up here in February 2018, and I’ve been involved at this shop ever since. I’ve seen it undergo expansion, and I’ve consistently worked as a volunteer employee through most of this time. The owner is very clear that her small number of employees (as I write this, there are two main volunteers who manage the shop alongside the owner--so three women total oversee the majority of operations) are volunteers, She states upfront that she cannot offer monetary compensation and in its place, offers free space to pop up amongst other benefits. She is very receptive to feedback. I expressed my concerns about hours/wages, and she listened, reducing the expected minimum number of volunteer hours and increasing employee perks. Whenever I vocalize any potential issue—which of course arises from time to time with any small business in its beginning stages!!—she takes my comments seriously and does everything within her power to accommodate. We choose to volunteer because we value the shop's role as a space of empowerment, creativity, friendship, and sustainable fashion. Bottom line is, this shop is GREAT. There are many different types of vintage styles all at sorts of price points, from $5 bargains to higher-scale, rare, 1920s-era gowns. The many vendors strive to provide garments for all body types and all genders, and will make appointments to help custo

No because I went here on a whim and I am so glad I did because not only did I get such a groovy Italian dress 😍 but I was supported the whole time by staff! I was reminded that I am beautiful and my heart is so warm. This storefront is well organized, inviting, and inclusive. Will be back! …

The Op Shop is my go-to for all types of clothing! They have a great collection with everything from casual to special occasion clothes. I recently got my (casual, city hall) wedding dress here! Such an asset to the Rochester community - and usually easy to find street parking nearby!

I came into the Op Shop the other day hoping to find a couple of thrifted items for a Renaissance Faire costume. The people working at the time were SO incredibly helpful, combing through different racks and recommending different clothing items to help me find the kind of outfit I was looking for. I don't think I've ever had such a positive shopping experience before. Would totally recommend this place for your thrifting needs! Go, Op Shop!!

I’m a flight attendant and I see LOADS of vintage shops all over the world! This vintage shop was so well curated. The pieces were super timeless and in amazing condition. The store was so organized, affordable, and such a beautiful vibe. The local artist they had outside was insanely talented as well. I bought two gorgeous purses.
